I'd like your help

If you're anything like me, you always have these great ideas that you can never seem to get a good start on. Usually, it's either due to a lack of funding, manpower, influence, or all three. This just so happens to be the case for a game I've been trying to get off the ground, called Uniques United.

The first attempt at turning Uniques United into a PC game resulted in this:



Now, I've switched engines and find I have a lot more freedom to develop and set up the gameplay as I see fit. However, due to me having to do everything myself, this is all I've been able to accomplish to date:



Life is tough when nobody believes in you except yourself, and that's the situation I find myself in today. But tonight, I've decided to say f*** it and start this thing anyway.

This is where you come in, assuming you're willing to help. If you like what you see so far and curious to see where it'll go, share this journal any way you can. I need enough to cover the costs of hiring an artist to draw the animations, the scenery, magic effects (yes, there is magic involved), the various creatures that you'll be up against or even alongside, etc.

I'd say $50 is a fine start, and will allow me to begin with a basic walk cycle. Of course, over time, it'll take considerably more than that to really demonstrate the game's potential, but what you do in these early stages will ultimately make the difference here.
